So much going on, so little time to write about it!

It has been a blast! We have had Spring Break, a very full month of April, and a visit to Virginia to see Nikki. It has been great. The kids have both changed so much. Makenna is officially fully potty trained. I think in the month of April she had a total of 2 or 3 accidents, including over night! It is so nice to have one out of diapers! Makenna even holds it on long road trips! We have been to PC for my alumni game, to Athens for pictures, to Anderson to visit Granddad, and to Virginia. I don't remember the last time we sat still, probably right now while I am typing this is the first time! It has been great. We have seen so many friends and family that we don't get to see on a regular basis. Of course Cooper made his debut at PC, and of course, everyone thought he was just way too cute!

Cooper and Makenna have become so much fun together. Makenna actually likes playing with Cooper from time to time. The more mobile he gets the better she is doing. She has tried to read him books, which course he is too much of a motion machine for, but cute none the less. We have spent numerous hours outside, where Makenna has learned how to pedal her little big wheel and Cooper has discovered a love for grass, mostly eating it!

Virginia was great, mostly. Obviously we could do with out the car ride, and Makenna gave us a little scare being curious in the hotel, but other than that it might have been some of the best time we had as a family . We went swimming together, we took naps together, Keith and I both had some good one on one time with each of the kids, and most importantly, we spent time with Nikki, Cooper's first mama. We learned a little about Cooper, like why he drools so much and why he loves apples in any form. It was so nice to see Cooper with Nikki. It is a relationship we hope only continues to grow. She is so beautiful and she so could be one of my sisters. It is kind of amazing how easy it is to hang out with her. We hope and pray to be able to hang out again soon! We participated in the Walk for Life with Nikki. The Walk for Life is a benefit for the Liberty Godparent Home, which helped Nikki and helped us complete our family. We were able to see other friends and to see the miracle of adoption all around us. It was just a great weekend.
